Because of our involvement in guitar building, we are constantly in the process of sourcing, selecting and stockpiling high quality Australian timbers. From this stockpile we select woods particularly suited to the manufacture of The Card Keeper. Currently the majority of Card Keepers are made from Australian Blackwood (Acacia Melanoxylon), which we value for its strength and beauty, but other woods such as Myrtle, Walnut and Ash are also used if suitable pieces become available.
