About these recordings
This instrument is such a perfect substitute for the traditional double bass. It's depth and tonal qualities make it indistinguishable from an acoustic double bass - you can slap it, pluck it, or bow it and it responds with the same transients you'd expect from a double bass.
I just love the sound of this instrument and I particularly love looking at the E string
